What kind of awards can I redeem with Sky Pearl Club mileage?
You can use the mileage to redeem award tickets and upgrades on the flights of CSN, SkyTeam partners such as Air France, KLM, Delta, Northwest and Korean Air, and other partners of Sichuan Airlines and Taiwan China Airlines.
In addition, you can redeem non-air awards such as ICON magazine at Sky Pearl Club website.
More non-air awards will be available for redemption soon, so please pay close attention.
What standards are required for initial redemption?
You can redeem for the first time only when your mileage account adds up to 10,000km or more.
How can I inquire how much mileage is needed for redemption of award ticket or award upgrade?
Log in skypearl.csair.com to inquire the mileage needed for redemption of CSN Sky Pearl award tickets or award upgrades through “Mileage Redemption Calculator” in “Fast Search” bar.

What documents are required for getting award tickets and award upgrades at CSN Ticket Offices?
1. For Sky Pearl Club cardholders to use the award, please provide:
original Sky Pearl Club card, ID card and its copy including the Sky Pearl cardholder’s signature.
2. For others to use the award, please provide:
The copies of Sky Pearl Club membership card and cardholder’s ID card with Sky Pearl cardholder’s signature, passengers’ ID card and its copy;
3. If you entrust someone else to get the award, please provide his ID or passport and its copy as well.
How long can award tickets be reserved before ticket issuance?
For CSN flights, PNR can be reserved for two hours before take-off reservation after deducting mileage. But during peak periods, such as the Spring Festival, May Day, National Day and Canton Fair,ticket, ticket issuance should be done as soon as possible.
Is the same mileage required for redeeming award tickets for children and adults?
Standards of redeeming award tickets for children and infants are the same as that of adults.
If there are no seats for award tickets, what should I do?
As the seats for award tickets are limited in each flight, please plan your journey as soon as possible and book it in advance.
How can I know my award ticket has been successfully booked?
Call the sales service hotline of CSN (domestic: 95539 and international: 8620-86682000) to inquire it.
Can I redeem award tickets for my friends with my mileage?
Yes, you can. But you need to add your friends to your redemption assignee lists for award tickets. Each member can add 8 assignees at most.
If I haven’t enough mileage to redeem award tickets, can I pay for extra mileage?
Sorry, cash isn’t available for purchase of mileage now.
Do I need to pay when I redeem award tickets?
Taxes and duties related to award tickets and award upgrades, such as airport construction fee, bunker adjustment factor and so on, shall be borne by the passengers themselves.
How long are award tickets valid?
Award tickets are valid for one year from the date of travel. Unused award tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue.
If award tickets are redeemed with mileage, but are not available, what shall I do?
Changing tickets: during the valid period of passenger ticket, award tickets can be freely changed as long as there is space in the same class, but they can’t be transferred.
Ticket refunds: during the valid period of passenger tickets, in terms of unused tickets, voluntary refund: 50% mileage is refunded; involuntary refund: 100% mileage as well as all taxes and duties are refunded.
In terms of partially used tickets, voluntary refund: mileage isn’t refunded; involuntary refund: all deducted mileage and all taxes and dues of unused segment are refunded.
If award tickets are lost, what should I do?
Sorry, lost award tickets will not be replaced or refunded.
What fares of tickets should be bought to be used for award upgrades with mileage?
1. For China mainland domestic flights, award upgrades are valid on any published fare booked in C, D, W or Y class.
2. For international flights, award upgrades are valid on any published fare booked in C, D, W, Y, T, K or H class.
3. For Routes of other SkyTeam Airline Partners, award upgrades are valid on any published fare booked in Y or full fare economy class.

With CSN flights, can I directly upgrade from economy class to first class?
You can use mileage to redeem upgrades, but award upgrades are only allowed once on the same flight. For example, if you upgrade from Economy to Business by using mileage, you are not allowed to use it to upgrade from Business to First Class again.
After CSN launches new mileage validity rules, what’s the difference in how validity is calculated?

Can I redeem award tickets online?
Yes, you can log in skypearl.csair.com to redeem award ticket.
How can I redeem award tickets for others online?
To redeem award tickets online for others, members are required to go to one of CSN’s designated ticketing counters for opening an online transfer and get redemption permission first. If the member does it by him/herself, he/she should bring the original and copy of his/her valid ID and Sky Pearl Club membership card, and present a valid mobile phone number in China for receiving the password; If the member authorizes another person to do it, besides the above, the original and copy of the designated person’s valid ID shall be presented as well.
