China Southern Airlines complies with government agencies laws of China and Canada that protect employees from discriminating against individuals based on disability. China Southern Airlines employs approximately 90,000 employees in China and eight in Canada. China Southern Airlines Human Resources (HR) and Legal department continuously monitor and update policies and procedures that affect the employment of individuals with disabilities.

In addition, China Southern Airlines has policies to address the need to make reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities.

  • ● China Southern Airlines will continue to review employment data on an annual basis and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance to employment laws as it relates to employing individuals with disabilities.

  • ● China Southern Airlines labor contract between the company and its employees notes Article 76 that the company protects the legitimate rights and interests of disabled employees in accordance with the law and prohibits the use of child labour.

  • ● China Southern Airlines HR department will lead and promote internal employee communication meetings with employees who have disabilities to improve the hiring and onboarding process.
