9.Procurement of goods, services and facilities

China Southern Airlines has many suppliers of services to support customers with disabilities. Our commitment is to ensure that all providers not only comply with the legal standards set forth by governmental regulations but also uphold the standard of excellence in supporting all our customers and employees. Our procurement of services and equipmentis paramount to being the leader in the industry and having a corporate responsibility to all our customers and employees is vital to our success.  

Identified barriers

In consistent application of current policies and procedures to purchase equipment and or services must align with government and corporate guidelines for inclusion and barrier free environment.

Continued

Continue to research options/innovations for improvements in current products and services to include access to aircraft for all types of disabilities.

Short Term

Identify any current and future suppliers who have a plan to improve their product/deliverable to accommodate customers / employees with disabilities.

Long Term

Conduct an audit of current vendors / supplies that do not have a policy or mission of inclusion and look for alternate supplier.

Specifically identify suppliers in Canada with an ACA plan to create synergies in sourcing.
