Carry-on Baggage

Notes to Passengers

For the safety of all passengers and our crew, please put your carry-on baggage in the rack above your seat or under the seat in front of you. Passengers seated near emergency exits (including those seated near wing exits and in the first row) must put their baggage in the overhead rack to ensure that the baggage will not hinder evacuation in case of emergency.

We will check your carry-on baggage when you go through check-in formalities and before boarding. You must check in your overweight carry-on baggage when going through check-in formalities. Before boarding, overweight carry-on baggage must be put in the baggage compartment. If the total weight of the carry-on baggage and the checked baggage exceeds the prescribed amount, you will need to pay excess baggage charges.

CSAir has the right to determine at our discretion whether your baggage should be treated as carry-on baggage or checked baggage to ensure your safety and comfort as well as the safety and comfort of other passengers.

A single spare battery should be packed independently, whose electrodes must be protected properly to avoid spontaneous explosion and combustion caused by friction, collision and short circuit;

Lithium battery specification pieces restriction Transportation regulation
Rated Energy<100wh —— Need no declaration, can be put in the carry-on baggage.
100wh 2 Should be declared to the airline and approved by it before boarding.
Rated Energy>160wh
Should be declared to the airline and consulted for freight service.
Note: Please confirm the specification marked on the lithium battery before boarding on the flight. Lithium battery specification is calculated by its rated energy (Wh), those without indicated rated energy have to be calculated bythe following formula: Rated Energy(wh)=battery Capacity(Ah)× Nominal Voltage(V) Unit conversion of battery capacity:1Ah=1000mAh
