Online Check-in Service Agreement

Online Check-in Service (the “Service”) is a service newly launched by China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. (“CZ”), which provides you with fast, convenient, secure and real-time services by use of Internet technologies. Prior to online check-in, please read the following terms carefully. You have to unconditionally accept all of the following terms before proceed:

  • 1. The Service is available for passengers with China Southern Airlines E-tickets; for Sky Pearl Members, please make sure the ID Card you used for ticket purchase is the one used for registration with the Sky Pearl Club.
  • 2. Enter the correct mobile number to log on to the system before you change or cancel your seat.
  • 3. Only seats marked as "Available" in the seating chart are available for the Service; "Occupied" or "Locked" seats are not available.
  • 4. The Service is currently available for domestic flights departing from dozens of domestic cities, please visit http://airport.csair.com/cki?locale=en for details. (Not available for flights of Macao and Taiwan)
  • 5. The Service is currently not available for passengers with transit tickets, offsite check-in, endorsed ticket or open ticket.
  • 6. The Service is available for adult passengers only.
  • 7. The Service does not include baggage check-in; passengers who have complete online check-in procedures should check in your baggage at the check-in counter of China Southern Airlines at the airport before the flight closed. If you have no baggage to check in, please get to the boarding gate before the aircraft doors are closed.
  • 8. The Service is currently not available for special passengers or other passengers who have to provide additional certificates for taking the flight (including VIP passengers, injured or sick passengers, disabled soldiers and police, pregnant, unaccompanied elderly and unaccompanied children and passengers with special food requirements), who should check in at the check-in counter of China Southern Airlines at the airport.
  • 9. Carry-on baggage shall be in compliance with aviation safety regulations.
  • 10. Boarding gate may be changed. Please confirm it at the airport before you board your flight.
  • 11. For passengers who have completed online check-in procedures but are unable to take the flight on time, please log on to China Southern Airlines website to cancel your seat one hour before the scheduled departure or call 020-95539.
  • 12. For passengers who have completed online check-in procedures but are unable to take the flight on time nor cancel the seat, please contact us two hours after departure, otherwise you will be deemed to have taken the flight.
  • 13. Under special circumstances such as flight cancellation/combination or change of aircraft type/seat layout, the seat you reserved may change accordingly and you should follow the arrangements of the staff at the airport.
  • 14. Passengers who buy tickets via China Southern Airlines E-ticket website may get the invoice at the E-Commerce Counter of China Southern Airlines at the airport or request the invoice by calling 020-95539 (invoice can only be obtained once).
  • 15. For special circumstances, please call 24h hotline at 020-95539 extension 4.
  • 16. Passengers should strictly abide by the regulations of governmental competent authorities on the valid documents required for taking civil aviation flights and ensure the legality and validity of the documents. Passengers will be held responsible for any consequences arising from unmatched names or invalid documents.
  • 17. Persons who cheat to check in as other passengers will be handed over to the police.
  • 18. According to relevant provisions of the Company, the Service may not be available for some special flights, and you may check in at China Southern Airlines check-in counter at airports.
China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. reserves the right of final interpretation of this Agreement.
