China Southern Airlines Counters Move to Terminal 2 of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Starting May 19

Starting May 19, China Southern Airlines as well as its affiliated Chongqing Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, and Hebei Airlines will all move their counters to the new Terminal 2 of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. When taking a flight flown by the above-mentioned airlines, please go to Terminal 2 for check-in.

China Southern Airlines will fully upgrade its ground services in Terminal 2. Self-service check-in is supported, making it easier for passengers to travel. Passengers can use the self check-in kiosks available at each check-in aisle to print boarding passes. If you have baggage to check in, you can go to Aisles H and L and use the self-service baggage check-in kiosk.

For check-in at counters, China Southern Airlines passengers can go to Aisles E, F, and G for domestic flights and Aisle P for international flights. First class, business class, and Sky Pearl economy class passengers as well as China Southern Airlines gold/silver members or SkyPriority members can go to counters at Aisles C and D for domestic flights and Aisle Q for international flights.

China Southern Airlines will use the new transit service facilities at Terminal 2 to provide passengers with high quality transit services. Passengers departing from mainland China can go to the boarding gate on the same floor if transferring to a domestic flight via Guangzhou, or go to customs and border protection if transferring to an international flight. Transiting passengers are not required to go through security checks again.

Passengers taking a China Southern Airlines international flight who will be transferring to a China Southern Airlines domestic flight via Guangzhou can enjoy the through-check service, so that they can complete check-in for both the departure airport and transit airport (Guangzhou) directly at the departure airport. When transferring at Baiyun Airport Terminal 2, they do not need to collect their baggage or go to transit counters. Just wait for the background baggage check-in result at the waiting lobby and go through the security check before boarding the subsequent flight. Passengers only need to collect their baggage at the destination airport. This convenient transit service is available for all 53 international air routes at China Southern Airlines Guangzhou hub.

China Southern Airlines is seizing the opportunity of moving to Baiyun Airport Terminal 2 to further develop what we call the "Guangzhou Path", striving to build a world-class aviation hub together with Baiyun Airport and the inspection authorities.
