Notice on epidemic prevention and control requirements for travelers to China

Dear valued passengers,

According to the Notice on Interim Measures for the International Exchange of Chinese and Foreigners issued by The Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, beginning Jan. 8, all China-bound travelers will need to take nucleic acid test for COVID-19 within 48 hours before boarding and can only travel to China when your test result is negative.

To ensure the health and safety of international travelers, from January 17, 2023 (local time), airlines flying to China will be responsible for checking the negative nucleic acid test certificates within 48 hours of passengers boarding and the certificates should be printed out in paper format. For other requirements regarding the nucleic acid test, refer to the Chinese Consulate General for updated information.

Given the frequent changes on travel policies, travelers are advised to take high awareness to the local governments, airports, etc. departments for their update announcement, to ensure they meet the epidemic prevention requirements for the origination, stopover, transit and destination countries.  Have all the required documents prepared in advance.  We appreciate your understanding and Support.
