Airport Guide

Nanning Wuxu International Airport is located in Wuxu Town, 31 km southwest of Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Southern China. The airport covers an area of 259.73 hectares. In 1958, it was relocated from Nanning Airport, and put into use in November 1962, as a military-civilian airport. Its property rights belonged to the local government. In 2008, it expanded its flight area, and was rated as a 4E airport. Since then, the airport has upgraded its positioning from a trunk airport to “an international portal and hub for ASEAN.” In 1958, it was relocated from Nanning Airport, and put into use in November 1962, as a military-civilian airport. Rated as 4E, Nanning Airport is also an important alternate airport for a number of domestic and international routes.  Nanning Airport supports the reduced-load landing and takeoff of Airbus A380, the world largest passenger aircraft, as well as the full-load takeoff and landing of Airbus A340, A330, Boeing 747, 777 and other large aircrafts.

2. Taxi

Passengers may take a taxi on the right side of the gate of the airport arrival hall and travel to downtown: About RMB 80-100.

3. Driving

The Airport Expressway is connected to Nanyou Expressway and Nanning Ring Expressway, providing easy access to the city center. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the city center.

Parking lot location

The parking lot of Nanning Wuxu International Airport is located northeast of the No. 2 terminal and offers 2,430 public parking spaces, including about 1,200 Park and Ride spaces (long-term parking spaces). All the parking spaces are outdoors.

Note:

1. Small vehicles: Vehicles with 7 seats or less;

2. Parking in the short-term parking lot (Area A) for more than 15 minutes and less than an hour is charged as an hour. After the initial one hour, parking for less than 30 minutes is charged as 30 minutes with no upper limit. If you need to park for a long period of time, the Park & Ride lot (Area B) is recommended.

3. Parking in the Park & Ride lot (Area B) for more than 15 minutes and less than 24 hours is charged as 24 hours. After the initial 24 hours, parking for less than 2 hours is charged as 2 hours.
