Yunnan Ethnic Village is a theme park displaying the colorful folklore and stylish architectures of 25 ethnic groups residing in Yunnan Province. The village is located at a narrow peninsula at the north shore of Dianchi Lake.

This Southeast Asia's largest ethnography museum collects over 120,000 pieces of cultural relics for a comprehensive understanding of diverse ethnic minorities in Yunnan.

It is one of the birthplaces of ancient Dian culture, with a history spanning over a thousand years. Known as “little Yunnan” historically, there are numerous historical sites for visitors to explore.

Stone Forest

At 120 km from Kunming city, there stands one of the “Nature’s World Wonders”- Stone Forest, also called Shilin.Inside the sea of Stone Forest, one feels as if were in a bizarre fairyland. The stone formations standing still resemble a variety of things such as ancient fortresses, birds, beasts, and whatever else one can imagine.

Dianchi Lake

Dianchi Lake in Kunming is the largest freshwater lake in Yunnan, and the sixth in China. It sits on the Yungui Plateau, and has a reputation as “the Pearl on the Plateau” because of its scenic views, rich biodiversity, and significance for the local life.

Dongchuan Red Land

250 kilometers northeast of Kunming in Yunnan Province, there unveils one of China’s most captivating natural wonder, Dongchuan red land.Unlike typical scenic areas, this terrain owes its drama to chemistry: iron-rich soil, oxidized over centuries into rust-red waves that cascade across hillsides like frozen lava.
