China Southern Airlines has established a special regulation to extend the validity period of some international tickets that have passed their validity period, in order to best meet the travel needs of passengers who were forced to change their travel plans due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection during the outbreak period. Details are as follows
1. Scope of application
(1) Date of issue: From January 1, 2021 to March 30, 2022
(2) Ticket type: International tickets with ticket numbers beginning with 784 (excluding group tickets) that are past the validity period
(3) Route type: Unused segments of international and domestic routes operated by China Southern Airlines' own aircraft and crew.
(4) Route type: Unused segments of international and domestic routes operated by China Southern Airlines' own aircraft and crew, excluding segments operated by carriers other than China Southern Airlines and code-share flights operated by other carriers' aircraft and crew.
2. Change and Refund Policy
Tickets that meet the above criteria may be extended until June 30, 2023, and changes may be made in accordance with the following provisions.
(1) A ticket may be changed only once free of charge to an actual flight operated by China Southern Airlines' own aircraft and crew on or before June 30, 2023. The flight segment and class of service must be the same as the original ticket. The above change procedure is free of change fee, No-Show fee, tax difference, and fare difference.
Notice: If there are no flights available at the time you request a change, we recommend that you wait until the policy is in effect (China Southern's international flights are currently being resumed in phases).
(2) This policy does not apply to changes only to unused segments of domestic flights in China.
(3) After a ticket change has been processed, the new ticket will not be changed or refunded at the customer's convenience. If the scheduled flight is not operated normally, China Southern Airlines will process the involuntary exchange of flights in accordance with the regulations. In case of involuntary refund, only taxes and fees for the unused portion of the flight will be refunded.

4. Period of validity
This notice is valid from the date of issuance until June 30, 2023. China Southern Airlines reserves the right of final interpretation regarding this policy.
