B787 Dreamliner

On June 2, 2013, at 10:30 am Beijing time, a beautiful aircraft adorned with the "Wings of Dreams" design gracefully touched down at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. This marked the arrival of the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner for China Southern Airlines (CSAIR), as well as the first B787 introduced into the Chinese civil aviation sector. The fuselage of China's inaugural B787 aircraft is adorned with a captivating design themed "Wings of Dreams". With wings spread wide, it symbolizes mankind's dream of flight and represents the innovative technology and comfortable flying experience associated with the B787 Dreamliner.

It has a body length of 56.72 meters, a height of 16.92 meters, and a wingspan of 60.12 meters. In addition, it has a maximum takeoff weight of 227.9 tons and a range of 7,650 to 8,200 nautical miles (14,200 to 15,200 kilometers). It encompasses art, technology, sustainability, and top-notch experiences all in one. The cabin environment is elegant and thoughtfully designed, ensuring a comfortable and extraordinary dream-like experience for passengers.

The B787 aircraft, by utilizing innovative engines, advanced composite materials, efficient systems, and cutting-edge maneuverability, significantly reduces the weight of the aircraft. This results in approximately 20% fuel savings during flight compared to similar aircraft. Through its reduced fuel consumption, the B787 aircraft achieves a substantial decrease in carbon dioxide emissions, leading to a 20% reduction in overall exhaust emissions. The B787 aircraft became the first to extensively utilize composite materials in its main structure, including the wings and fuselage, leading to significant performance improvements. By applying special treatments to the engine casing, this aircraft reduces noise levels by over 60% compared to similar aircraft, aligning with the global environmental requirements and standards.
