Narita

[Introduction]

Narita International Airport is located in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, approximately 60 kilometers east of central Tokyo, and is Japan's representative international airport. There are two runways and three passenger terminals, with China Southern Airlines' own operated flights arriving and departing from Terminal 1.

[Transportation]

Railway

There are two railway service operators serving the airport: “JR East” and “Keisei Railway” trains. The train station is located underground directly below the terminal building.

“Narita Express” trains operated by JR East link the airport and major stations in central Tokyo and its surrounding area, including Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya and Yokohama Stations. The journey from Narita Airoport Station to Tokyo Station takes approximately 60 minutes and costs 3,030 yen.

Keisei railway’s “Skyliner” trains links the airport and Nippori and Ueno stations in central Tokyo. The journey from Narita Airport Station to Nippori Station takes approximately 40 minutes and cost 2,570 yen.

If you are departing from Narita airport on China Southern's originally operated flight, please alight the train at the final stop; “Narita Airport” Station.

Airport Buses

Airport buses connect Narita Airport and various locations in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Some buses go directly to major hotels in Tokyo. The "Limousine Bus" takes approximately 65 minutes between Narita Airport Terminal 1 and Tokyo City Air Terminal (TCAT), and costs 2,800 yen.

The airport bus ticket office and bus stop are located on the first floor of Terminal 1, the same floor as the arrival lobby.

Taxis

Taxi stands are located on the 1st floor of Terminal 1, the same floor as the arrival lobby. Taxi fares from Narita Airport to central Tokyo are approximately 20,000 to 30,000 yen.

Remember to take taxis with green license plates, while those with white license plates are illegal and pose a safety risk.

[Service]

Foreign Currency Exchange: There are a total of 12 currency exchange offices inside and outside of the restricted areas of the T1, three of which are located in the 1st floor arrivals hall.

Shopping/Dining: Terminal 1 offers a variety of service facilities, including duty-free stores, drugstores, traditional craft stores, souvenir stores, restaurants, food courts, and beauty salons.

Luggage Storage: There is one luggage storage service available in arrival lobby on 1st floor at Terminal 1.

Medical Services: “Shadan Kokushukai Airport Clinic” is located on B1 floor at Terminal 1.
