About the Airport

Beijing Daxing International Airport is located between Yufa Town and Lixian Town in Daxing District of Beijing and Guangyang District of Langfang in Hebei Province. It is 67 kilometers away from Beijing Capital International Airport and 46 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square.


Check-in

Check-in counter

(1) Domestic check-in area

The domestic manned/self-service convertible counters are located in the check-in area on Level 4 of the terminal: Island B (Counters B17-B32), as well as the domestic check-in area on Level B1: Counters U07-U14.

Domestic check-in supervisor counters: Counter B18 in the check-in area on Level 4 /Counter U14 in the check-in area on Level B1.

Domestic special passenger service counter: Counter B17

The domestic exclusive check-in area is located on the west side of Level 3 of the terminal. Access is through Gate 7, and it provides services for VIP, first class, business class, and CSAIR gold and silver card passengers on domestic flights.

Domestic staff counter: Island M (Counters M01 and M02) on Domestic Departure Level 3.

(2) International check-in area

CSAIR international ticket counter: General service counter between Island B and Island C

CSAIR international first class, business class, gold and silver card counters: Counters C33-C35

CSAIR international economy class counters: Counters C19-C32

CSAIR international special passenger service counter and staff service counter: Counter C36

Self-service baggage check-in facilities

The fully self-service baggage check-in facilities are located at Island A (Counters A17-A28) and Island B (Counters B01-B14).

The oversized baggage check-in counter is located in the middle of the rear end of Island B and Island C, on the west side of Level 3.

Arrival and departure process

1. Domestic departure

Regular passengers need to check in at the east side of Island A and Island B on Level 4. After taking the elevator to Level 3, they need to go through domestic security checks and then take the elevator to the boarding area on Level 2.

First/ Business passengers need to check in on Level 3, go through security checks, and then take the elevator to the boarding area on Level 2 for departure (VIP passengers may wait at the Domestic Sky Pearl Lounge).

Passengers arriving by rail transit need to check in on Level B1, go through security checks, and then take the escalator or elevator to the boarding area on Level 2.

2. Domestic arrival

After arriving, passengers need to go to the domestic departure/arrival area on Level 2 and then proceed to the domestic arrival baggage claim hall on Level 2 to collect their baggage.

3. International departure

Passengers need to check in on Level 4 of the main building and then go through international security and joint checkpoints before going to the international departure level on Level 3 for boarding (VIP passengers may wait at the International Sky Pearl Lounge).

4. International arrival

After arriving, passengers need to enter the international arrival corridor on Level 2 and take the elevator to Level 1 to go through the international entry formalities before going to the international arrival baggage claim hall on Level 1 to collect their baggage.

Baggage inquiry

(1) Domestic flights

CSAIR Domestic Baggage Inquiry Counter is located on the north side of Carousel 22 in the domestic baggage claim hall on Level 2. Consulting Tel.: 010-53371155

Baggage claim service

(1) Domestic flights

Ordinary baggage claim carousels 21-27, 30-36; oversized baggage claim: on the south side of the carousel corresponding to each arrival flight.

(2) International flights

Ordinary baggage claim carousels 1-4, 7-10; oversized baggage claim: on the south side of the carousel corresponding to each arrival flight.

Smart baggage tracking service

China Southern Airlines ("CSAIR") is to offer whole-process baggage tracking services via RFID baggage tags at the Daxing Airport. Passengers may check the whereabouts of their checked baggage in real time through CSAIR's mobile app, public WeChat account, and official website.

With the scanning function of CSAIR app or WeChat, passengers can have real-time access to baggage status. The specific steps are as follows:

Method 1: "Scan” function on WeChat. Passengers may use WeChat to scan the QR code on their boarding pass and view the status of their checked baggage.

Method 2: “Itinerary” menu on app: While checking the flight status via the app, passengers may also have quick access to the current location of their checked baggage.

Method 3: Baggage Inquiry module on official website: With the ID information used at the time of ticket purchase, passengers can have quick access to the current location of their checked baggage.

Since the “Itinerary” menu on the app is only available to passengers with a Sky Pearl member account who are to take flights on the day, passengers are advised to try the service by the following two means: ① Barcode on their boarding pass ② ID number used at the time of ticket purchase.


Transportation

Daxing Airport Line

From north to south, passengers can transfer at every station along the Daxing Airport Line. Among them, Caoqiao Station is interchangeable with Line 10 and Line 19. It takes about 6 minutes to interchange between Caoqiao Station and Metro Line 10 at a distance of 290 meters; it takes 1 minute to interchange between Caoqiao Station and Metro Line 19 at a distance of 45 meters. The walking distance between the Daxing Airport Line and the terminal is 75 meters.

Beijing–Xiong’an High Speed Railway

The Beijing–Xiong’an High Speed Railway starts from Beijing West Railway Station, with a station set up at the Daxing Airport. It only takes 30 minutes for passengers to travel from Beijing West Railway Station to Daxing International Airport by high-speed train. The walking distance between the Beijing–Xiong’an High Speed Railway and the terminal is 150 meters.

Airport bus

The Daxing International Airport is set up with six intra-city bus lines and four inter-provincial ones. The intra-city lines include Beijing Railway Station Line, Beijing West Railway Station Line, Beijing South Railway Station Line, Tongzhou Line, Fangshan Line, and Xuanwumen Night Line; the inter-provincial lines include Baoding Line, Langfang Line, Tangshan Line, and Tianjin Line.

The bus lines are subject to change depending on the actual operation of the airport bus company.

1. Line 1: Beijing Railway Station Line

(1) From downtown to airport: Beijing Railway Station → Puhuangyu → Liuxiang Bridge → Daxing Airport

Location of bus stops: Beijing Railway Station Stop is located in the courtyard of Xintong Building on the east side of Beijing Railway Station; Puhuangyu Stop is located at the Puhuangyu Bus Station (west side of the road); and Liuxiang Bridge Stop is located at the North Liuxiang Bridge Bus Station (west side of the road).

(2) From airport to downtown: Daxing Airport → Liuxiang Bridge → Puhuangyu → Tiantan → Ciqikou → Chongwenmen → Beijing Railway Station

2. Line 2: Fangshan Line

(1) From downtown to airport: Fangshan Transportation Bureau → Liangxiang Beiguan → Liangxiang Dajiao → Four Seasons Hotel → Ruixue Chuntang → Daxing Airport

Location of bus stops: Fangshan Transportation Bureau Stop is located in the west side building of Fangshan Transportation Bureau; Liangxiang Beiguan Stop is located at the Liangxiang Beiguan (South) Bus Station (west side of the road); Liangxiang Dajiao Stop is located at the Liangxiang Dajiao (East) Bus Station; Four Seasons Hotel Stop is located in front of the Olive Tree Four Seasons Hotel; and Ruixue Chuntang Stop is located at the bus station at the intersection of Changzhuang Road (west side of the road).

(2) From airport to downtown: Daxing Airport → Ruixue Chuntang → Dongyangzhuang → Weiye Garden → Liangxiang Dajiao → Liangxiang Beiguan → Fangshan Transportation Bureau

3. Line 3: Beijing South Railway Station Line

(1) From downtown to airport: Beijing South Railway Station → Daxing Airport

Location of bus stop: Beijing South Railway Station Stop is located at Lane 5 of the bus hub of Beijing South Railway Station.

(2) From airport to downtown: Daxing Airport → West Youanmen → Beijing South Railway Station

4. Line 4: Xuanwumen Night Line

From airport to downtown: Daxing Airport → North Liuxiang Bridge → Liujiayao → Puhuangyu → Chongwenmen → Qianmen → Xuanwumen

5. Line 5: Tongzhou Line

(1) From downtown to airport: Sun Flower Hotel → Daxing Airport

Location of bus stop: Sun Flower Hotel Stop is located in front of the Beijing Sun Flower Hotel in Tongzhou;

(2) From airport to downtown: Daxing Airport → Sun Flower Hotel in Tongzhou

6. Line 6: Beijing West Railway Station Line

(1) From downtown to airport: Beijing West Railway Station → Daxing Airport

Location of bus stop: Beijing West Railway Station Stop is located at the east ramp of the roundabout in the South Square of Beijing West Railway Station.

(2) From airport to downtown: Daxing Airport → Xiajia Hutong → Maliandao → South Square of Beijing West Railway Station

Driving

The Daxing Airport Expressway starts from the South Fifth Ring Road in the north to the north end of Daxing International Airport in the south. With a total length of about 27 kilometers, the expressway is planned to be built with eight lanes in two directions. According to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, driving from the South Fifth Ring Road to Beijing Daxing International Airport is estimated to take only 20 minutes. Driving from Beijing West Railway Station to Beijing Daxing International Airport is estimated to take about 50 minutes; from Beijing South Railway Station to Beijing Daxing International Airport, about 40 minutes; and from Beijing Capital International Airport to Beijing Daxing International Airport, about 70 minutes.
