Are there any restrictions on purchasing duty-free commodities onboard?

Please inquire to flight attendants about details of duty-free commodity restrictions for different countries. The following are duty-free commodity restrictions for some countries:

Holland

Non-European residents can take 200 cigarettes , or 100 small cigars, or 50 cigars, or 500g tobacco leaves; 2L spirit with alcoholic strength below 22%, or 1L spirit with alcoholic strength over 22%, and 50g of perfume and 250ML Eau de Cologne or skin cream free of duty. The quantity for European residents is half of the above.

Thailand

200200 cigarettes, or 250g cigar, or 250g tobacco leaves; 1L dinner wine or spirit, and personal articles with the value not exceeding 1,000 THB.

China

Chinese residents of mainland, Hong Kong or Macao can take 200 cigarettes and 1L spirit free of duty. Overseas Chinese and foreign travelers can take 400 cigarettes and 1L spirit free of duty.

United Arab Emirates

2,0002,000 cigarettes, or 400 cigars, or 2kg tobacco leaves; 150g perfume and 1L Eau de Cologne. Non-Islamists can take 2L dinner wine and spirit free of duty.

Japan

33l dinner wine or spirit, 2oz perfume and articles with the value not exceeding 200,000 yens free of duty. Foreign travelers can take 400 cigarettes, or 100 cigars, or 500g tobacco leaves free of duty; the quantity for Japanese residents is half of the above.

Vietnam

15Passengers above the age of 15 can take 400 cigarettes, or 100 cigars, or 500g tobacco leaves; 2L spirit with alcoholic strength below 22%, or 1.5L spirit with alcoholic strength above 22% free of duty.

Malaysia

Travelers going abroad for 72 hours and staying in Malaysia for 75 hours can take 200 cigarettes, or 50 cigars, or 225 tobacco leaf; 1L dinner wine or spirit, and also articles with the value not exceeding 200 MYR free of duty.

The United States

200200 cigarettes, or 50 cigars, or 2kg tobacco shred; travelers above the age of 21 can take 1L alcoholic beverage free of duty. American residents can take articles of value not exceeding US$ 800; Non-American residents can take articles of value not exceeding US$ 100.

The Philippines

400400 cigarettes (double quantity for Philippine residents), or 50g cigars, or 250g tobacco leaves, and 2 bottles of dinner wine or spirit.

Australia

250250 cigarettes, or 250g cigars or tobacco shred; 1L dinner wine or spirit. Adults can take articles not exceeding AUD 900 free of tax; and travelers aged below 18 can take articles not exceeding AUD 450 free of duty.

France

200200 cigarettes, or 100 small cigars, or 50 cigars, or 250g tobacco leaves; 1L spirit, or 2L dinner wine or dessert wine. European residents can take more cigarettes and spirit, and also 60ML perfume and 250ML Eau de Cologne.

South Korea

200200 cigarettes, or 50g cigars, or 250g tobacco leaves; 1L dinner wine, and gifts of value not exceeding US$ 400.

Singapore

11L dinner wine, 1L spirit, and 1L beer. Any tobacco products should be declared at customs.

Indonesia

200200 cigarettes, or 100 cigars, or 100g tobacco leaves; 1L dinner wine or spirit. Each adult can take gifts of value not exceeding US$ 250 free of duty, and each family can also take gifts with value not exceeding US$ 1,000 free of duty.

Hong Kong

Foreign travelers can take 200 cigarettes, or 50 cigars, or 250g tobacco, and 1Lwine or spirit free of duty. Hong Kong residents can take 60 cigarettes, or 15 cigars, or 75g tobaccos, and 750ml still dinner wine free of tax.

Cigarettes and alcoholic beverages listed on the shopping instruction and magazines shall not be sold to travelers under 18 years old.

How do I buy duty-free goods?

We will provide passengers with as many duty-free goods as possible on the plane. However, due to the short flight time of some flights and limited flight space, please make a reservation on the Internet or dial booking hotline in order to guarantee that the goods you have chosen are delivered to your international flight in time.

Which currencies can be used to buy duty-free goods?

1. The following currencies in cash can be used to buy duty-free goods:

USD, Euro, Korean Won, Japanese Yen, Australian Dollar, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, CNY, Swiss Franc as well as Singapore Dollar.

2. All goods provided on our flight are marked with prices in US$. Please inquire to the attendant if you want to know the exchange rates of other currencies.

Can I use credit cards to buy duty-free goods?

1. The total amount of each credit card ranges from US$ 15 to US$ 500.

2. We accept payment by credit card and the card holder is required to show valid travel documents. The following international credit cards are acceptable:

Can I book duty-free goods on the plane?

1. Yes. Please fill in an “Onboard Order Form” and deliver it to the attendant when you are taking a flight.

2. The passenger taking CSN international and regional flight may make a reservation via the Internet, telephone and plane 48 hours in advance.

Do you provide a delivery service for duty-free goods bought on the plane?

The duty-free goods can only be delivered to you when you are taking international flights.

Do I need to make a registration for “duty-free goods order service before takeoff”?

No.

Will the order be changed accordingly if I change my journey?

No, it’s not available for the moment. You have to place the order again or change your order.

Can I add more goods to my confirmed reservation?

Yes. Please change the order 48 hours before takeoff.
