1.Charges for surfboards with perimeters of no more than 227 cm (109 inches) should be calculated based on the fees for 5 kg of excess baggage.Charges for surfboards with perimeters exceeding 227 cm (109 inches) should be calculated based on the fees for 8 kg of excess baggage.
2.The above charge standard applies to each passenger with only one surfboard (or windsurfing); if one passenger carries more than one surfboard (or windsurfing), the overweight charge shall be subject to the general charge standards for excess baggage.
Charges on domestic flights:
A. Surfboards with a total circumference of less than 277cm (109in) will be charged for in accordance with the fees for 5kg of overweight baggage.
Surfboard charges: Surfboards with a total circumference exceeding 277cm (109in) will be charged for in accordance with the fees for 8kg of overweight baggage.
B. Each passenger may only carry one surfboard (or windsurfing board) at this discounted rate. Any additional boards will be charged for in accordance with the overweight baggage fees for the actual weight of the board.
Charges on international flights:
1.These items cannot be included in a traveler's free baggage allowance.
2.Charges for surfboards with perimeters of no more than 300cm (118 inches) should be calculated in accordance with the excess baggage fees (i.e., the charges for general overweight baggage).
3.When transporting surfboards (or windsurfing boards) and equipment, the carrier undertakes liability for transportation in accordance with the applicable regulations for general luggage.
