As part of Budget 2014, the New Zealand Government announced that from 1 November 2014 the duty free concession for tobacco products will reduce from 200 cigarettes (or 50 cigars or 250g of tobacco) to 50 cigarettes (or 50g of tobacco or cigars). The new concession limit will apply to all travellers arriving in New Zealand.
