Is it allowed to use prams or baby car seats on airplanes?
No, it isn’t. But during flights longer than 3 hours on the types of A380, A330-300, A330-200, B777A, B777B, B787 and B777-300ER (B77W), free baby cradles are offered to babies without seats.
How to reserve a baby cradles during a flight?
You can make a reservation for this service earlier than 24 hours before your flight on our official website, or call our service center at 4006695539, or apply in person at the local ticket offices affiliated with China Southern Airlines.
Are there restrictions of age to applying for the service of baby cradles?
Due to the measurement of cradles, only babies younger than 12 months, less than 70 cm in height and less than 25 pounds in weight are qualified for this service.
What is the free baggage allowance for an infant?

The baby paying for his ticket with a price equivalent to 10% of an adult ticket is entitled to a free baggage allowance of 10 KG. Meanwhile, one cradle or foldable stroller (with its size not larger than the volume of storage space available) can be carried with him free of charge.

Is an infant allowed to take a flight?

For the sake of passengers' safety, an infant under two weeks when he is intended to travel is not allowed to take a flight. However, an infant above two weeks may travel by plane.

Can I bring stroller and infant food into the plane?

Foldable-style stroller could be brought into the cabin, but each passenger is only allowed to carry one onboard. The infant food and necessities can also be brought into the cabin after they are shown and explained to the security inspection staffs.
