1. Merlion Park

Geographic Location: Located at the Estuary of Singapore River and on the Fullerton Road

Introduction:The well-known Merlion Statue, situated on the lakeside of Singapore River, is 8m high and 40t heavy. The lion's head represents the legendary "Lion City", and the fish's tail symbolizes the ancient city "Tumasik", implying that Singapore originates from a small fishing village. Today, the Merlion Statute has become an emblem and sign for Singapore.

2. Sentosa

Geographic Location: Located in the south of Singapore Island

Introduction:Sentosa is an idyllic island for vacation, and its name in Bahasa Malaysia means peace and tranquility. It evolved from a small fishing village to UK's military base. In 1972, it turned into a holiday resort. On the verdant and tree-lined island there is fascinating Adventure Park, natural and quiet lanes, museum, and historical sites etc., keeping away from the noisy city.

3. Singapore Zoological Garden

Geographic Location: Located at No. 80, Mandai Lake Road

Introduction:In 1973, Singapore Zoological Garden was opened to the public. During the garden design, the open-type concept is taken as the design philosophy, and so the garden comprises tropic forest and lakes. In the garden, the zoo takes a floor space of 28 hectares and pools 250 species of mammals, birds, and reptilians, with total number hitting nearly 3,000. During the visiting process, tourists can have breakfast with gorillas or appreciate four animal performances per day.

4. Singapore Flyer

Introduction:Singapore Flyer is 165m high, which is equivalent to the height of a 42-floor building and 30m higher than the renowned "London Eye". Singapore Metro System falls into South-to-North Line, East-to-West Line, and East-to-North Line, which include 69 metro stations (including 7 interchange stations) and have a total length of 118.9km. In each metro station of Singapore there are route map explanations with eye-catching signs, and the ticket vendor with strong functions.
