What is the "carry-on baggage"?

"Free carry-on baggage" refer to small items that are carried on by passengers themselves with the approval of the carriers and within the range of limited types and amounts during their traveling (the stay time in the stops included).

What is the "baggage ticket"?

The "baggage ticket" is a part of ticket involving checked baggage.

What is the "baggage tag identification voucher"?

The "baggage tag identification voucher" is issued specially by the carrier to the passenger for identifying his checked baggage.

Why are some of our baggage not allowed to be brought into the plane when boarding?

The carry-on baggage shall be small enough to be placed into a baggage rack or space under seats, in order to guarantee the normal activities inside the cabin and the safety of passengers,our staff are authorized to stop oversize baggage to be brought into a plane.

What are the restrictions on carry-on baggage?

The weight of each passenger's free belongings is restricted to 5 kg. The passengers who hold First class tickets can take along two items each; those holding Business class, Premium Economy class and Economy class tickets can carry on one item each. The volume of each item should be no more than 20×40×55 centimeters. If the above weight, number or volume is exceeded, the belongings should be transported as checked baggage.

What items can be checked though can not be carried?

Besides rules on prohibited carry-on or checked baggage, other household blades such as kitchen knives, shears, large fruit knives, and razors; specialized tools such as surgical blades, butcher's knives, and carving tools; broadswords, spears, swords, and halberds used in performances; and other sharp or blunt instruments such as axes, hammers, awls, canes with increased weight or sharp point, and alpenstocks that may cause harm to flight safety.

Can I carry liquid article?

1. All items of liquids, gels, and aerosols must be stored in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml. If larger than 100 ml (even if it is not full), it is not allowed to carry in cabin but in checked baggage.

2.The containers with liquids should be fitted comfortably within a re-sealable transparent plastic bag of a maximum capacity not exceeding 1 liter (L). Each passenger can only bring one transparent plastic bag at a time, and shall transport the exceeding part as checked baggage.

3.The plastic bag with liquids must be checked particularly at the security checkpoint; baby formula/milk/breast milk (with baby accompanied) and necessary liquid drug brought by diabetics or other patients should be passed through the security checkpoint, and you shall show the certification to security-checking staffs. Liquid drug should be stored in 100 ml container in a transparent plastic bag;

4.Liquids bought in the isolated area of the airport terminal are permitted to carry on board.

Can stroller and food be treated as carry-on baggage?

Each passenger can carry one foldable stroller into the cabin. The infant food and articles for daily use can be brought into the cabin after they are shown and explained to security staff.

How many lithium batteries can be placed in my carry-on baggage?

The lithium batteries in cell phone and notebook computer etc. can be carried by passenger.

What portable electrical appliances can be brought into the cabin?

The electrical appliances including digital camera, MP3, mobile phone, mobile phone charger, CD player and laptop, larger electrical appliance such as hair dryer etc. that can be placed into the carry-on baggage may be brought into the cabin with prior showing and explanation to the security staff.

Can I board with hairspray?
