From July 2019, travelers can request an NZeTA either via INZ mobile app or login on the Immigration New Zealand Official Website. The NZeTA is valid for up to 2 years and can be used for multiple visits. The cost of the NZeTA is NZD$9 via the mobile app and NZD$12 via the Immigration NZ website.
In most cases, the NZeTA request will be processed quickly, however travelers should allow at least 72 hours for processing. Therefore, travelers and transit passengers are advised to apply for an NZeTA in advance to avoid being denied boarding or entering the country. If the passenger does not hold an NZeTA before departure, the airline may has the right to not allow his boarding!
