Notice of China Southern Airlines on the Full Implementation of 100% Seat Pre-selection Service for Domestic Flights- China Southern Airlines Australia

Dear passengers:

With a view to enhancing passengers' flight experience, carrying out paperless boarding and promoting green and environment-friendly travel, our company plans to implement 100% seat pre-selection service for domestic flights actually carried by China Southern Airlines from January 1, 2019.

For your smooth travel, the relevant service content is hereby notified as follows:

1. After successfully purchasing tickets, you can pre-select seats through the official electronic channels of China Southern Airlines. The official electronic channels of China Southern Airlines include official website (www.csair.com), mobile phone APP ("China Southern Airlines") or Mini Program ("China Southern Airlines e-Travel"). You can still change your seat or cancel your check-in through the above-mentioned official electronic channels before security check.

2. When applying for seat pre-selection, you can select the automatic check-in. China Southern Airlines will automatically handle online check-in procedures for you before the flight takes off.

3. For passengers who do not choose seats initiatively 4 hours before the flight takes off, China Southern Airlines will automatically pre-select seats for passengers and go through online check-in procedures. It is recommended that you arrive at the gate 45 minutes in advance. The gate will be closed 15-20 minutes before the flight takes off.

4. At airports supporting electronic boarding passes, you can obtain the electronic boarding pass through the above-mentioned official electronic channels of China Southern Airlines before the flight takes off, and then go through security check and boarding directly with the electronic boarding pass without waiting in line to print out the paper boarding pass. At present, China Southern Airlines supports electronic boarding passes at 39 domestic airports including Guangzhou and Beijing (please refer to the end of the text for details of domestic airports supporting electronic boarding passes).

5. In principle, the airport counter will provide luggage check-in services only, and will not accept seat adjustment requirements.

6. For the sake of ensuring that you receive notification of seat selection and electronic boarding pass, please provide your correct mobile phone number when purchasing the ticket. If you are a member of China Southern Sky Pearl Club, please check through the official electronic channels of China Southern Airlines in time and update your latest contact information.

7. The service will be piloted on domestic flights from Guangzhou and gradually extended to all domestic flights.
